BUDDY CARR Board Overview
New from BDS...
the long awaited Buddy Carr Model. A killer pool board 9" x 32" with a 15" wheel base and full kick nose. Another awesome graphic for Wes on a real nice stick designed by Buddy. These are each hand made by Kelly Bellmar—Bulldog Team rider and owner operator—of Factory Manufacturing in Huntington Beach.

The fade around the edges will vary about every 10 boards from one color, two color, and multi-colored. This is done in an effort to keep them unique. 

Each board will come with a sheet of our 9 x 33 diecut Jessup grip tape but will not be gripped. A color patch will be screened on the decks top surface to show through the BDS cutout. 

Recommended Setup
Buddy rides this deck with Tracker Sixtracks, 1/8" risers, and a center set wheel. We recommend using the Bulldog 60mm (99A) Winged Skull wheel or the 62mm Gashead (95A) in orange or 62mm Skull Wave (95A) in lime green.

Bulldog 10x32 Board Overview
This is Bulldog's signature board and the best selling model. At the inception of this company all of the boards were being made from an existing "house" molds.

If you happen to have one of the original couple hundred from fall of 2002, you might want to take a second look at this deck.

Wes engineered this mold from scratch. The Bulldog Model features rocker from nose to tail for a lower center of gravity. There is a very mild concave at the front of he board that reduces to nearly flat near the tail. In order to further enhance the lower center of gravity, Wes included his signature Humpston wheel wells.

During the development of this board a reverse beam was run up the center of the mold to add strength and stiffness that is lacking in most flatter boards. this has come to be known as the "W" concave. Input from around the country has been nothing but positive on this feature. Skaters claiming that it helps keep their front foot on the board and fits into the arch of the foot. Wes says it allows you to find the board's center without looking down.

Recommended Setup
This board sets up nice with a Tracker Sixtracks, or Indy 166-169 and a center set wheel. If you are running the Shogo Kubo single conicals or double conical wheels with an offset bearing, try a 146-149 to 156-159 Indy for a flush set up (anything much wider than that and you'll start getting a bit of wheel hang).

Ray Flores Board Overview
This board is by far the beast of the Bulldog line. If you are looking for a real wide ride with a good amount of concave through out the deck-look no further!

A serious load of wood to throw around particularly with its 19 1/2 inch wheel base. The back ground graphic present on top and bottom is a mind bending warp that goes off into infinity. Inspired by Rays days in the San Francisco music scene and being a child of the sixties.

The 33 1/3 length also happens to coincide with the RPM speed of a record album. A couple of vintage photos of Ray at Gonzales Pool. One with him taking a bite out of an old Dogtown board.

The individually laser cut Jessup griptape may be the most intricate tape ever manufactured. The origins of the art on this tape only really known to Wes and Ray. You will be left to speculate. Some have said it is due to Ray's insatiable appetite for the ladies, while others have guessed that it is a sign of Ray's longevity in skateboarding itself.

Recommended Setup
A popular set up has been Indy 215's or Webb 215's with a center set 64mm green of marbled wheel, or go with a bit of wheel hang and throw on a set of the Shogo's for a real old school feel.

New Shogo Kubo Board Overview
The Shogo Kubo Model was designed as more of a modern pool board. The only big board in our line with a full kick nose.

The unique shape was developed by Wes and a surfboard shaper together with Shogo, the original idea of it being a shaped like a bomb.

As the board evolved the bomb shape mellowed and the graphic theme changed. Living in Hawaii, Shogo worked together with Wes to keep the theme centered around his life in the islands.

Another piece of original tribal dragon art was drawn for the individually laser cut Jessup griptape. The board has a fairly steep concave and and wheel wells for extra clearance.

Recommended Setup
This deck sets up well with a Tracker Sixtrack (Shogo's truck of choice) or Indy 165/169 truck and a center set bearing wheel.

An offset wheel like the Shogo Kubo signature wheel or a double conical will require a narrower truck. To avoid wheel hang try a 146/149 Indy.

Wheel Overview
Bulldog wheels are made by one of the top manufactures of wheels in the industry. Located in the United States, the supplier uses the latest in injected molded urethane technologies. Currently they are making wheels for many for the leading companies in the world today. All of their wheels with the exception of their 60mm's utilize cores for a more precision bearing position. Each model of wheel has been thought out and field tested and modified based on the results. The urethane formulas in our wheels have been designed with speed and traction in mind. The idea being to give you the speed of a harder wheel and the traction of a softer one.

Winged Skull
99A/60mm
The most aggressive wheel in the Bulldog line. The 60mm wheel is a bit wider than most available on the market today, and features a little rounder shape than most others as well. Easy to get on and off the coping with less hang ups than the more vertical shaped wheels. Currently being skated in pools, parks, and even by some street skaters that are experimenting with larger diameters. Awesome winged skull graphic by Wes. Colors: White and Grey/Black Marble.
