...known as "Dr. Skateboard", Bill Robertson's title derives its origins from Bill's expertise in the fields of education and skateboarding. Bill Robertson is no ordinary guy. He has always been one to combine education with athletic achievement! 

Bill received a Ph.D. in Education at the University of New Mexico in 2000. He has accumulated undergraduate degrees in History and Zoology, as well as a Masters' degree in Education.

Bill has been a high school and middle school teacher too. He is an accomplished professional announcer and performer, as well as a skateboarder for over 27 years!  Bill has entertained 1000's of spectators at events throughout the United States. 

Bill placed in the top 5 as a Professional Freestyle skateboarder in professional contests in the late 1980s, and also put out his signature model with Walker Skateboards. He continues to perform with the "Got milk?" Gravity tour and the Pro Impact Stunt Team!  He is currently sponsored by Dr. Skateboard, Tracker Trucks, Cowboypunk Skateboarding, PTS Shoes, Pro Designed Pads and Eastern Skateboard Supply.

As Bill says, "So today, at the age of 39, I continue to skate flatland, street, ramps and bowls. I use the same board for all of these (32" x 7.75"), only varying the tightness of the trucks depending on the terrain. I feel that I have returned to my roots, having become a "skateboarder" all over again, not defined by a label or category. I do maintain a quiver of about 20 skateboards that includes long boards, short boards, vintage boards and off-road setups. I continue to be recognized and defined as a "skateboarder."
